What Disney Has Announced
Announced at the Walt Disney Company annual shareholders meeting in March 2026, with more detail promised through the year.
Disney Believe is the fourth ship in the Wish class, joining Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny. She is under construction at Meyer Werft in Papenburg, Germany, and is due to enter service in late 2027.
Disney describes her as a ship about belief — in magic, in family, in the power of nature and in yourself. In practice that means a ship themed around Disney Animation, alongside the Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars storytelling the class is known for.

Disney Believe Questions, Answered
When does Disney Believe start sailing?
Disney has confirmed the ship debuts in late 2027. Trade coverage puts delivery from the shipyard in the final quarter of that year. Disney has not yet published a first sailing date, so treat any specific date you see elsewhere as a guess until the line says otherwise.
Can I book a cruise on Disney Believe yet?
Not yet. Disney has not opened bookings, because no itineraries have been published. New Disney ships typically sell out their opening season quickly once booking does open, so the useful move now is to tell us you are interested — we will come to you the day sailings are released, rather than you watching for it.
Where will Disney Believe sail from?
No homeport has been announced. Disney said more detail would follow in the months after the ship was revealed, and has scheduled a fuller reveal for 7 October 2026. We would rather tell you nothing than tell you a port that turns out to be wrong — ask us and we will pass on what is confirmed at the time you ask.

How big is Disney Believe and how many guests does she carry?
Disney has not published her tonnage, guest capacity, stateroom count or deck count. Figures circulating now come from trade reports rather than from Disney, and they do not all agree. Her Wish-class sisters give a fair indication of scale, and we will update this page with real numbers once the line publishes them.
How is Disney Believe different from Disney Destiny or Disney Treasure?
All three are Wish-class, so the hull and general layout are shared, but Disney themes each one separately — Treasure around adventure and Destiny around heroes and villains. Believe is built around belief and Disney Animation stories. The differences that matter in practice are the restaurants, the shows and the kids’ spaces, and Believe’s have not been announced.
When will Disney announce more about the ship?
Disney has scheduled a livestream for 7 October 2026 to share further detail. Historically that is when restaurant names, entertainment and the broad itinerary picture start to emerge, with bookable sailings following later. Is it worth waiting for Believe instead of booking a Disney cruise now?
Usually not, and here is the honest reason: late 2027 is a long way off, opening-season fares on a brand-new Disney ship are rarely the cheapest way to sail the line, and the current fleet is very good.
